In Feb 2020, Muse by SABAQ was the proud recipient of the GESS Education Award. GESS is an international platform – one of the leading conferences in the MENA region. The exhibition provides educators access to the products and solutions that meet the needs of the modern classroom and transform the way students learn.
Muse won the Best Educational Award, establishing its standing in the global context.
2nd Prize Winner at Pasha Awards 2019
SABAQ bags the 2nd spot in the Education category at Pasha Awards 2019.
The Pasha ICT Awards honors companies at the cutting edge of technology innovation. They recognize the achievements, creativity, and excellence of home-grown Pakistani innovators in the field of Information and Communications Technology.
Finalist of Siemens Foundation empowering people Award (epAward) 2019
SABAQ has the honour of being the first and only Pakistani startup to become the Siemens Stiftung epAward 2019 finalist. From a pool of 800 enterprises from 86 countries across the world, SABAQ made it to the top 11.
The award by Siemens Foundation recognizes and endorses low-technologies providing crucial services and solutions for the daily needs in developing regions.
Winner of IsDB Transformer Prize 2019
SABAQ won the fifth edition of the ‘Transformers Roadshow’ competition organized by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB). The organization will be providing 4 Pakistani innovators, researchers and entrepreneurs seed capital and business skills.
SABAQ will be participating in IsDB’s annual innovation and technology conference in Senegal later in 2019. We will be showcasing how we have used technology in education to create incredible impact.
Finalist at the Next Billion EdTech Prize 2019
This was one of our greatest breakthroughs. SABAQ was recognized as one of the top 6 Global EdTech Startups at the Next Billion EdTech Prize at Global Education and Skills Forum in UAE.
800 startups competed for the big prize. SABAQ was the only startup representing Pakistan at the big stage. It was, indeed, a proud moment for all of us!

Participant of SPRING Cohort 4
SABAQ, along with 19 other South Asian organisations, was chosen to be a part of SPRING Accelerator’s 4th cohort. As part of the cohort, SABAQ worked with outstanding human-centred design experts from fuseproject and a SPRING helmed consortium to develop sustainable solutions that empower adolescent girls aged 10-19 putting them on a path to becoming strong and confident women and leaders.
Member of Global Giving
SABAQ became a permanent member of GlobalGiving – an online crowdfunding platform for not-for-profit organizations. On this platform, SABAQ initiated a campaign to raise funds to provide Education Kits to children learning through SABAQ’s technology.
Through rigorous online campaigning, we successfully raised over $7,500 for the purpose of providing supplementary Education Kits.
Winner of National Innovation Awards 2017
SABAQ has also been the proud recipient of the Education Innovation Award at the National Innovation Awards in 2017.
The National Innovation Awards acknowledge and promote cutting-edge and contextually relevant innovations (and innovators) from across the country. It is a great initiative bringing forward new innovators and startups from Pakistan.
Winner of Best Digital Innovation at Pakistan Digi Awards 2017
SABAQ received the award for ‘Best Digital Innovation’ at the Pakistan Digi Awards, for showing the greatest development over the preceding year based on growth, innovation and impact by a developing innovative business solution.
The Pakistan Digi Awards acknowledge companies and enterprises transforming the digital landscape in Pakistan.
