The Community Resilience and Action project undertaken by Muse entails ‘Think it Through’, a resource designed to build critical thinking skills in children (aged between 11-13 years) of the lower income communities of Karachi.
Six themes, divided into two modules, have been developed, keeping in mind the current global issues – including Migration, Global Warming, Drugs and Your Health, Active Citizenship, Gender Roles and Media Literacy.
The digital lessons were delivered by 6 trainers in 30 schools, visiting each school once a week for the duration of the project. The course, which provided 15 sessions per grade, involved various forms of content, activities and exercises that were specifically designed to sharpen kids’ thinking skills and build up community resilience.
